I thought it was time to update my blog because I haven't yet since I got here in the US.
I left my dear family and friends behind for 10 months to experience an amazing year in the United States.
But before I would begin my big journey I went to the EF Language and Culture camp in Northfield, Vermont.
They said this would be the best 10 days of your life and at first I felt like; yeah sure..
But actually, they were right! I had an amazing time with all the awesome exchange students from EF.
We went to Boston, a lovely city, and the lake. But the trip I liked the most was the baseball game of the Lake Monsters. I was cheering all the time with my awesome friends and I just had a lovely evening.
We were divided in different 'High Schools' and my high school was: the Grant Gators (chomp). We also had our homeroom (mentorklas) and teacher, I was in Grant North with our awesome, crazy and sweet teacher Fay :) He did the craziest game, called: Commando Hike. Hide and jump in the bushes when he yelled GO. And stop walking when he yelled STOP. On our last day we did that with a couple of our homeroom for the last time and we jumped in the river, that was awesome!!
We were leaving on the 3th of August in different busses, it depended on the time of your flight. It was very hard to say goodbye to my dear friends and teacher because I had such a great time. I never thought it would be that great. I love you all, my friends back home, my friends from camp and my family
Hugs

Daddie:
Nice report. Good to read about you. We are so happy that the first weeks are so wonderful. It will take some time to accustom to the new school but I am sure you will have a great time in it
